Once you’ve identified your days of rest and relaxation, try planning backwards from these dates so you’re sure to meet important milestones just before them. This accomplishes two things: First, by planning backwards, you are likely to have a more realistic sense of what you can accomplish in the time. and Second, by reaching important milestones just before your days off, you’ll feel more entitled to taking the time off- and will, therefore, probably enjoy the time even more. You know that feeling of relief you get when you know you’ve earned a break? Work towards that feeling this summer.
