A few more ideas to speed up the data collection process:
*Try to go where lots of people are and ask them to fill out your survey on the spot- if possible- works best for non-clinical populations and/or for those studies with easy to complete surveys. Tap into all your communities- family, friends, neighbors, church or religious groups, social support groups, co-workers, colleagues, university…. you can ask people to spread the word and have potential participants contact you to be involved in the study.
*Approach real-life or online groups in your desired demographic/psychographic area and ask if they would send a notice out to all their members.
*Give yourself a data collection deadline- past which you won’t worry about getting any more data and will work with what you have. This can keep data collection from dragging on endlessly.
