I just wanted to take a minute to wish you Happy Holidays! I hope 2007 is wonderful and success-filled for each and every one of you.
I even wrote you a little poem to commemorate the end of this year and start of another. (I’m still a long way from Dr. Seuss, but hey…I try!)
2007 is almost here
Are you ready for another new year?
Tired of studying, tired of fluff
You just want to graduate and get the good stuff
A faculty position or whatever may be
But you can’t easily do this without your degree
If you’re ready to complete the easiest way
Pay attention to this– Listen to what I say!
The fastest way that I know how
To get your degree not then but right now
Is to work just a little, even a few minutes each day
And don’t let anything stand in your way
Of that PhD you so clearly deserve
All it takes is focus and a little bit of nerve.
2007 is your year to finish!
Plan for that goal, do it right now
And if you need some extra help,
I’ll show you how.
We’ll get you finished, have no fear
All you need will be right here
Follow my advice and you will see
The dissertation gets finished
Fast as can be!
