Ok- so, you’ve chosen a topic, gotten it approved, and now you’re involved in researching it. You’ve obtained some information, but need more. What to do? Here’s a simple, but really effective tip: look through the bibliographies of the articles you already have- make notes of any articles that sound promising- and then get these articles and do the same thing. (Kind of like a radiant pattern, where one article branches out to another group, and so on). Just be careful not to go TOO far out- usually one or two branches is enough for your purposes. Remember, having 3-5 references for every major point is usually enough to support your argument. If you’re stuck on trying to find enough references, consider using the bibliographies from articles you already have.
